Q Who should use SmartRider Breakaway Safety Stirrups?
Anyone who rides horses! It doesn't matter whether you are just going for a gentle hack on the quietest of horses, or competing in a three day event, accidents still happen, so better to be safe than sorry!
Q Can you use SmartRider Breakaway Safety Stirrups in Dressage competitions?
Yes! The Sport and Technical Officer, British Dressage, confirmed that the Classic Stainless Steel English style stirrup and the Black Escape stirrup would be permitted under British Dressage Rules.
Q How do you clean the Escape stirrups?
Just given them a rinse in water.
Q What is the curve on the Escape stirrup tread for?
It is to give increased confort when riding as more of the foot comes into contact with the stirrup.
Q Can you use the Escape stirrups with English stirrup leathers?
Yes. Thread them through the slot at the top. If using Western fenders thread them through the top part of the stirrups
